GREENSBORO &8212; Robert Clarence Roseberry, 54, of Greensboro, died April 5, 2008, at Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. today at the Greensboro Baptist Church in Greensboro. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery with Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel.

Roseberry was born July 9, 1953, in Morgan County to Martha Jean Hollomon Roseberry and the late Clarence Roseberry. He worked as city judge and an attorney.

His father, Clarence Roseberry, and his mother-in-law, Aileene Taylor, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Cynthia Lynn Taylor Roseberry; his father-in-law, Dan Taylor, of Gadsden; daughter, Margaret Amanda Roseberry, of Tuscaloosa and one step-daughter, Lindsey Rae Woods and husband, Clint, of Tuscaloosa; son Robert Breland Roseberry and wife, Heather, of Gulf Port, Fla. and one step-son, Jeremy Lee Bowen of Tuscaloosa.

Roseberry was married to his wife, Cynthia, for 15 years. He worked for the Fourth Judicial Circuit as assistant district attorney for 15 years. He was the Donostic Referee for Marengo County for six years. Roseberry served Greensboro as city judge and local attorney-at-law. He was an avid hunter and all-rounded sportsman.

Active pallbearers will be John Jay, Stephen May, Richard Bailey, Woody Dinning, John Counell, Roland Perry, Cal Shawdrick and Mike Fuller.
