MARION &8212; Richard Lovelace Stone, 82, of Marion, died April 11, 2008, at his residence. Graveside services were set for 11a.m., Monday, April 14, 2008, at the Marion City Cemetery. The Rev. Thomas Fondren was the presiding clergy, with Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing.

Stone was born Feb. 24, 1926, in Perry County to Thomas Edgar and Mary Martha Morris Stone. He was a farmer most of his life.

His brother, Cecil Stone, of Marion, survives him.
