The third class of YOUth Lead graduated recently, making their way to become the next leaders of Marengo County.

The class is designed to teach students about Marengo County and instill in them the importance of stepping into the role of leadership. The leadership program is a sister program of the adult Leadership Marengo class.

This year&8217;s graduating class consisted of 18 students from Demopolis High School and three students from John Essex High School. The students completed service projects such as working the Christmas on the River pageant, wrapping Operation Christmas Child boxes and stuffing thank you letters for the Demopolis City Schools Foundation
