LINDEN &8212; Cora Grey Etheridge, 100, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Marengo Nursing Home after an extended illness.

Graveside services were 4 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at Aimwell Baptist Cemetery in Sweet Water with Kelly Etheridge Jr. officiating.

Etheridge was born Oct. 24, 1907, a resident of Half Acre most of her life and a resident of Marengo Nursing Home for approximately 20 years.

Etheridge was preceded in death by her parents, Lily E. Kirkham Etheridge and James W. Etheridge; her sister, Irene E. Young, her brothers, Clarke Ethridge, Allie Etheridge, Leon Etheridge, Horace Etheridge, J.B. Etheridge and Jewell Etheridge and two nephews.

Survivors are two brothers, B. R. Etheridge, of Sweet Water, and W. K. Etheridge Sr., 11 nieces and eight nephews.
