LINDEN &8212; Nannie Mae Sawyer, 85, of Linden, died on June 4, 2008, at the Marengo Nursing Home. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2008, at the Providence Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery. Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis will direct the services.

Sawyer was a native of Oakfield, Ga. She was a retired dental assistant and homemaker. She was a member of Old Saleem Baptist Church in Frisco City. She taught the Ladies Sunday School Class for over 35 years and sang in the choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Robert Kidd and Ida G. Stratton, brother, Robert Kidd, grandson, Keith Agee and great-nephew, Robert Spencer Kidd.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy D. Agee and husband, Vernon, of Daphne and Doris A. Killgore and husband, Cleveland, of Gallion, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one nephew and one great-niece.

Pallbearers will be Mark Killgore, Rob Killgore, Hunter Killgore, Steven King, Chase Bahr and Daryl Jones. In lieu of flowers, you make a donation to the charity of your choice.
