DEMOPOLIS &045; Edward James Ousley Jr., 67, died Monday, June 9, 2008, at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Dr. Rex Kent officiating. Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis will direct the services. The Ousley family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m., Wednesday, at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Home Chapel.

Ousley retired from Suttles Trucking Co. as parts manager, was a member of The First Baptist Church of Demopolis, Demopolis Masonic Lodge, Kiwanis Club, Shriners and served in the United States Army.

His father, E. J. Ousley Sr, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen Lee Ousley, of Demopolis; two sons, Eddie Ousley, of Prattville, David Ousley; one daughter, Lee Ann Eddins and husband, Ed, of Demopolis, and his wife, Sherie-Leigh, of Selma; his mother, Arlow Rowell and her husband, Wesley, of Citronelle, and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be George Overstreet, Eddie Willingham, Gene Sammons, Ken Johnson, Keith Parmer and Johnny Williams.
