Edweena V. Wilson, 76, of 107 Jackson Street in Demopolis, died June 28, 2008 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services are today at 10 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery, with Dr. Art Luckie officiating.

Wilson was preceded in death by her parents, Leonce Russell and Ann Katherine Allen Wilson, and two brothers, Leonce Russell Wilson Jr. and Burton Allen Wilson and a sister, Bernice Wilson.

She is survived by Katherine Lee Milner, of El Dorado Hills, Calif., a special caregiver, Mrs. Eleanor Stegan of Demopolis, one niece, Judy Nelson, of Fair Oaks, Calif., and one nephew, John (Karen) Milner Jr. of Murphy, Calif.

Wilson was a native of Demopolis and a resident of the city for 76 years. She graduated from Demopolis High School and was emplyoed by Bailey-Newell Cigar and Tobacco Co. for many years.

Kidd-Robbins Funeral Home will direct today&8217;s service.
