DEMOPOLIS — Willie Paige, 53, of Demopolis, died on June 20, 2008 at D.C.H. Hospital in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on July 5, 2008 at the Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Demopolis. The Rev. Honoree Lockett officiated. Internment followed in Memorial Cemetery in Demopolis. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis were in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include wife, Amy C. Paige, of Demopolis; children, Brenda Paige, Leatha Daniels and husband, Albert; Latonya Paige, Shirley James, all of Demopolis; Kimberly Perkins of Linden; and Mary Paige of Thomaston; siblings, Hamp Ward of Tuscaloosa; Robert Ward and wife, Jacqueline; Alfred Ward, Sylvester Ward and Tommy Ward of Flint, Mich.; four brothers-in-law, nine great grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
