GALLION- Ms. Leigh Ward Abrams, age 35, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at home.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Providence Baptist Church in Gallion with Rev. Fred Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in the Providence Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the service time Thursday.
Leigh was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cecil and Bessie Anderson and Dolly S. Ward.
Leigh is survived by her two sons, Ward Abrams and Will Abrams both of Gallion; her mother, Carol Collins and her husband, Scotty of Gallion; her father, Jimbo Ward and his wife Amy of Demopolis; two sisters, Andrea (Mark) Whaley of Greensboro and Beth (Rob) Fleming of Demopolis; Cole Collins of Gallion, Gray Collins of Montgomery and William Douglas of Demopolis; grandparents, Bo (Patricia “ Pat”) Ward of Sweetwater.
Leigh was a native of Marengo county, a resident of Gallion and a member of Providence Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Hal Cannon, Donnie Barrineau, John Holley, Byron Johnston, Darrell Cobb and Kevin McKinney
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Marengo Academy, Attention Paula Brock, P.O. Box 480639, Linden, Alabama 36748 or to a charity of choice.
