Mary Florence Thomas, of Greensboro, passed away Aug. 26 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be held Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. at the Walls Chapel AME Zion Church with Rev. Muriel R. Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 10 a.m. to the time of services. Public viewing will be held today from noon to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
