Deacon D.B. Walker, age 85 of Meridian, Mississippi passed August 6, 2008 at his residence in Meridian, Mississippi. Funeral Services were held Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Fifth Street Baptist Church, Meridian, Mississippi. Rev. William C. Brown, officiated. Interment followed in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Demopolis, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include a loving, devoted and caring daughter, Cora (Grady) Kelly of Demopolis, AL; three stepchildren, Dorothy, Jackie and Chester; one sister, Mary B. Constantine of Boligee, AL; five grandchildren, Marvin (Angela) Edmonds of Monterey, N.C., Kelvin (LaGlora) Watkins of Chattanooga, TN., Dr. Shantania Edmonds-Isaac of Demopolis, AL, Martin Edmonds of Monterey, CA and Marsheed Edmonds of Houston, TX; eight great-grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends and a devoted friend, Tyree Wallace of Meridian, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
