Cordelia Ferguson, 93, of Demopolis died Sept. 10, 2008. A native of Higgenson, Ark., she worked as a registered nurse and then as a hospital administrator for 14 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Myrtle Nuckolls. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Burnham (Travis) of Demopolis; two grandchildren, Andy Burnham (Beth) of Boca Raton, Fla. and Heidi Sims (Todd) of Russellville, Ark; three great-grandchildren, Colby Austin, Tanner Blake and Grayson Todd Sims. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Demopolis with Rev. Tommy Carr officiating.
