Laura “Baby Ruth” Brasfield of Akron passed away Sept. 6 at Greene County Hospital in Eutaw.
Services will be held Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. at Bass Tabernacle Church in Akron with Rev. West Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 10 a.m. to time of service. Public viewing will be held from noon to 5 p.m. at the funeral home Friday. Agnew Funeral Home in Greensboro directing.
