Demopolis police chief Tim Williams said Monday there were not any new developments in the shooting deaths of two men outside a Demopolis residence last week.

Williams put a call out Friday for anyone with information pertaining to Thursday night’s double homicide in Demopolis. He is asking they call the department’s tip line at 334-289-1475.

Henry Green, 22, of Demopolis and Ron Elmore, 35, of Demopolis were shot in front of 722 E. Decatur Street in Demopolis around 5 p.m. Thursday night.

“We need information from anyone who would know anything about this case,” Williams said.

One of the victims was pronounced dead on the scene. The other died at Bryan W. Whitfield Hospital.
