Funeral services for Ms. Carrie H. Beck, of Boligee were held on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at St. Matthew-Watson Baptist Church in Boligee, with the Rev. Christopher Spencer officiating. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis directing.
Survivors include three sons, Walter (Viola) Beck, James (Carolyn) Beck and Don “Wayne” (Tamela) Beck; a stepson, Will (Gloria) Bennett; two daughters, Johnnie (Calvin) Knott and Mary Beck; 16 grandchildren, Calvin (Tammy) Knott Jr., LaKesha Knott-Crawford, Janneice (James) Eatmon, Pamela Benita Beck, Rolando (Tameka) Bishop, LaTara Bishop, LaNesia (Fitzgerald) Armour, Walter Lee Beck Jr., Arrenius (Stephanie) Bishop, Shenika (Talmus) Williams, Darrius Armstead, Samoria Ayeesha Beck, Jaylon DeWayne Beck, Breneesha Johnnae Turner, Will Bennett Jr. and Terrance Bennett; 39 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including a devoted friend, Ora Deloach.
