Funeral services for Mr. Reginald Dewayne Harris, age 42, of Greensboro were held on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at 1 p.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Matthew Wilson officiated. Interment followed in New Pentecostal Cemetery. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis directing.
Survivors include his wife, Louise E. Harris of Greensboro; three sons, Marque Sanders and Anthony (Latara) Edwards, both of Moundville and Terrance Edwards of Greensboro; two daughters, Tameka Edwards and Tacara Edwards, both of Greensboro; his father, Joe (Jeraldine) Martin ,Jr. of Detroit, Mich.; his mother, Sammie (Johnnie) Craig of Tuscaloosa; seven brothers, Darryl (Lisa) Burnett of Louisville, Ky., Darren Tinker of Kansas City, Mo., Joe Martin III of Detroit, Mich., and Demetris (Retisa) Boone, Marzet Harris, Johnny Craig Jr. and Jimmy Craig, all of Tuscaloosa; six sisters, Shalonda (Kenneth) Staples and Toya (Jerome) Smith, both of Detroit, Mich., Tara (Lorenzo) Ward of Fayette, Ark., Tiffany (Jeston) Hall of Conyers, Ga., and Chiquita Craig and Mayaka Crawford,both of Tuscaloosa; seven grandchildren, Tamica, Corey, Anthony Jr., Kamekia, Tarriah, Talejha and Takerria; her mother-in-law, Katie M. Edwards of Greensboro; two brothers-in-law, David (Keshay) Edwards of Montgomery and Pride (Mary) Edwards of Augusta, Ga.; a sister-in-law, Ella Grice of Greensboro; a devoted friend, Timothy Watkins of Greensboro; five aunts; eight uncles; seven great-aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
