Mrs. Jean Crews Stone, age 78, died on Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at Marengo Nursing Home in Linden.
She was a native of Marion, a former resident of Uniontown and a member of the Uniontown Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. at Pine Crest Memorial Gardens in Marion with the Rev. Don Smith officiating. Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis is directing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd E. Stone.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda S. (Mack) Tucker of Demopolis; three sisters, Hazel Lewis, Barbara Jones and Frances Dupree; a granddaughter, Jessica Squires (Joey) Griffin of Tuscaloosa; a grandson, Kenneth (Legare) Tucker Jr. of Columbia, S.C.; and one great-granddaughter, Kate Tucker of Columbia, S.C.
