Theresa Smith Bales, age 70, of Faunsdale passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, at her home.
She was a native of Toccoa, Ga. Before retirement, she worked in sales with computer equipment.
Following her cremation, a service will be announced at a later date. Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis directing.
She is survived by her husband, Hank Farley Bales of Demopolis; three sons, John R. (Jeanie) Bridges of Canton, Ga., James M. Bridges of Faunsdale and Charles (Conjia) Bridges of Birmingham; three sisters, Brenda Buckner of Atlanta, Ga., Mary Hughes of Jefferson, Ga., and Ginny Brewer of Augusta, Ga.; four grandchildren, Brittany Bridges, Russell Bridges, Shawna Bryington and Tyler Hitt; and one great-grandson, Evan Bridges.
