Patricia J. Reid, age 74, of Butler passed away on Jan. 8, 2009.
Mrs. Reid was the owner and oerator of Reid’s Motel and Laundromat.
Visitation was at Bumpers Funeral Home in Butler on Saturday, Jan. 10, from 10 a.m. to the time of the service at noon. Funeral services were held at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Scottie Fulcher and the Rev. Dan Nixon officiating. Bumper Funeral Home was in charge of the services. Burial followed in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Butler.
She was survived by four sons, William Charles (Bonnie) Reid Jr. of Demopolis, Carlos Patrick (Jackie) Reid of Demopolis, Timothy Clark (Donna) Reid of Moundville and David Robert (Trina) Reid of Butler; 12 grandchildren, Tiffany Reid, Will Reid, Victoria Reid, Anna Reid, Luke Reid, Alex Reid, Neville Reid, Matthew Reid, Hannah Reid, Bailey Reid, Blake Reid and Bryson Reid; two sisters, Maxine J. Fulton of Houston, Texas, and Winnie Lena Byers of Amarillo, Texas; and one brother, William Jones of Natchez, Miss.
She wsa preceded in death by her parents, Carl Henry Jones Sr. and Winnie Huto Jones; her husband, Bill Reid; five sisters, Jessie Wilson, J. Edwards, Eula Mae Cooper, Willie J. Bond and Gladys Merle Patton; and her brother, Harold Grey Jones.
Pallbearers include Clay Tew, John McPhearson, Chip Moore, Roy Coody, Clay Hannah and Larry Reynolds.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bonnie Hudson, Pat Harbin, Lisa Winston and her golf buddies and lunch buddies.
