Mardi Gras is coming to Demopolis this year.

The Marengo County Historical Society is sponsoring a Mardi Gras masquerade ball at Lyon Hall on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 7 to 10 p.m.

There will be music, good food and good company,” said Historical Society president Kirk Brooker. “Join us for heavy hors d’ouevres and King Cake.”

Tickets are $25 per person and are available at the Canebrake Craft Corner or by calling (334) 289-9644, Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
