Funeral services for Ms. Ethel Mae Belt of Demopolis were held on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church in Demopolis. Pastor Charlie Moore officiated. Interment followed in Scott Memorial Cemetery in Jefferson.   Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis directed the services.
Survivors include one daughter, Rosa (Freddie) Reese of Gallion; seven grandchildren, Keith (Felecia) Carter, Thomas (Brittney) Daniels, Tkeisha Chandler, Tasha Chandler, Dinesha Carter, Tracy (Deon) Bailey and Kristie (Antoneo) Ellis; 13 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Della (Silas) Seaborn, Rachel (Charles) Dawson, Melvina Smith and Louella Wilson; two brothers, Albert Rowser and Wesley Rowser; one aunt, Lucille Course; 10 godchildren, Patricia Gracie, Ada, Godfrey, Atlay, Karmen, Bridget, Lashandra, Tommy Paige,  Monica Scott and Charlie Howell; seven cousins, Daisy Zandler, Albert (Eva) Daniels, Estelle Jackson, Ella Johnson, Esaw Fulford, Crawford Daniels and Oliver Daniels; two step-grandchildren, Earl and Frederick Jackson; two devoted friends, Lena Robinson and R.C. Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
