Max F. Larkin, Jr., age 88, of Sumter County died at his home on March 24, 2009.
He was born Feb. 19, 1921.
Mr. Larkin was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Floyd Larkin.
He is survived by his three children, Max F. Larkin III of Coatopa, and Betty Lou Larkin and Floyd Larkin, both of Birmingham; one granddaughter, Nancy Larkin of Coatopa; and a devoted friend, Leola Stallings.
A private burial will be conducted on March 26. Following the burial, the family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. at Camp Larkin in Livingston.
