Bettye Jean Tubbs of Greensboro passed away on Monday, March 23, 2009, at Hale County Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 28, at noon at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church with the Rev. J.L. Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state from 11:30 a.m. to the time of the service. There was a public viewing on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Agnew Funeral Home of Greensboro is directing the services.
