Enclosed in today’s Demopolis Times, you will find a listing of the county’s seniors, each destined to take the world by storm in one way or another.

As these students ready themselves for graduation, a senior trip, pack for college or get ready to hit the laborforce, we wish each of them nothing but the best of luck.

It has been our pleasure to extend coverage to these seniors and share their events and stories with our readership.

We know that some of the best and brightest students that Marengo County has to offer are about to be unleashed on the world.

Don’t let the national headlines scare you. Yes, you will be entering a tough job market. Yes, you may find it a little more difficult than those one, two or three years older than you. But you will survive.

Part of learning is the struggle along the way. Jobs will come. Good jobs. Jobs that will lend themselves well to your particular skill set.

They may not come by the end of this week, but if you work hard and look for them, you will find them shortly.

Good things come to those who wait. Those of you who have walked or will walk across the stage and be handed your diploma have just been handed a lit match that you will use to light your path to success.

Good luck to each of you.
