Demopolis City School Superintendent Dr. L. Wayne Vickers is set to meet with Saraland School officials Tuesday as the fledgling city school district in Mobile County seeks to fill a leadership position that’s been vacant for nearly 10 months.

Vickers, who is three weeks shy of two years into a three year contract with the Demopolis City School System, was announced last week as one of two finalists for the Superintendent of Education’s position at Saraland.
