The Canebrake Players will spoonsor a drama camp, to be held at the Old School Theater at the corner of Main Avenue and Pettus Street.

The camp is open to ages 9 to 17, and will be held the week of July 13-17 from 2 to 5 each afternoon.

The camp’s showcase will be presented on Friday, July 17, at 5:30 p.m. Tuition for the camp is $85 for those who sign up by June 30 or $100 for those who sign up after that date.

The camp is directed by Audrey Hamilton, who has a master’s degree in education and a bachelor’s degree in theater.

“We’ll be doing every thing,” Hamilton said. “We’ll do a little set design, a little costuming and rehearsal. We’ll have a little show to put on.”

Snacks will be provided, and participants will be provided a dinner at the end of the camp.
