Bryant Moody Jr., age 82, of Butler passed away on Oct. 8, 2009, at Willow Trace Nursing Home in Butler.
He was born on Dec. 24, 1926, to Bryant Moody Sr. and Mary Moody.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie; his parents; three brothers and one sister.
Survivors includeone daughter, Deborah (David) Franklin; two granddaughters, Tiffany Carlisle and Shayla Carlisle; one niece, Dannie Mae (Thomas) Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Bryant Moody Jr. were held on Saturday, Oct. 10, at Butler Chapel AME Zion Church with the Rev. Samuel Duff officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Weatherly-Studdard Memorial Chapel directed the services.
Family and friends served as pallbearers and flower bearers.
