Schroeders take McNider prize

Chase and Chad Schroeder won first place and a $5,000 prize at the conclusion of the 2009 McNider Marine Tournament.
The McNider Marine Trail fished six regular tournaments and the Classic throughout the year.
The tournaments were held at the Demopolis City Landing and Roland Cooper State Park in Camden, with an average of 80 boats participating in each event.
One hundred and 120 boats fished throughout the year.
Tim Windham and Clay Morris took second place and a $1,000 prize along with a $600 Big Fish payout. The team also won the Triton Gold payout worth $1,000.
Howard Gaston and David Henson, Sr. took third place and the $500 pot and Pat Chambers and Mike McMillian were named Team Angler of the Year.

The 2010 Trail will start Feb. 20 at Roland Cooper State Park. There is a guaranteed first place of $4,000 plus contingency money on all regular tournaments. Entry fee is $100 plus a one-time membership fee per person.
