Mary Tidmore Wigger, age 82, of Greensboro passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at her home.
She was born on March 19, 1927, to Houston Ezra and Willie Morrison Tidmore.
Survivors include two daughters, Lynda Horne (Emory) Barenette of Greensboro and Shirley Ann Horne (Dan) Harrell of Chickasaw; one granddaughter, Kenya Barnette (Rodney) Clary of Greensboro; two great-grandchildren, Jenna Kynard and Blake Kenyard, both of Greensboro; one great-great-granddaughter, Aliyah Nicole Kynard of Greensboro; two brothers, Carey Lemley Tidmore of Greensboro and Bobby E. ((Sue) Tidmore of Mobile; a sister, Zola Bell Tidmore (W.K.) Stokes of Montgomery; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services were held on Friday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery. The Rev. Arthur Thomas officiated the ceremony. The family received friends on Friday, Oct. 30, from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel, which directed the services.
Pallbearers were Emory Barnette, Dan Harrell, Rodney Clary, Steve Tidmore and Carey Tidmore Jr. Memorials may be made to: Comfort Care Hospice, 935 U.S. Highway 80 West, Demopolis, AL 36732.
