Daniel Jackson Smith Jr., age 68, of Dixon’s Mill died on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Bradford Smith of Dixon’s Mill; two sons, Daniel Jackson (Teresa) Smith III and Craig Bradford Smith, both of Dixon’s Mill; two sisters, Retha james of Linden and Ruby Jean Morris of Demopolis; and two grandchildren, Daniel Smith IV and Kelly Elizabeth Smith, both of Dixon’s Mill.
Graveside services were held at Laurel Cemetery on Friday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Aaron Carpenter officiating. O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of THomasville is directing the services.
Active pallbearers were Matt Cobb, Ransom Cobb, Timmy Etheridge, Randy Ray, Mike Morris and Randy Morris. Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Ray, Kenneth Cobb, Johnny Walker, Willie Morris and Gene Etheridge.
