Infant Cooper Hayes Courtney passed away on Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at DCH Northport Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Byron L. Doster, Willie Clyde Courtney and Raymond Morgan.
Survivors include his parents, Mallory Snipes Courtney and Cameron Chase Courtney of Tuscaloosa; grandparents Deidre Snipes of Gallion, Mitchell (Amanda) Snipes of Demopolis, Donna and J.R. Suttles of Demopolis and Craig Courtney of Thomasville; great-grandparents Ruth Doster of Demopolis, Vernon and Ramona Snipes of Demopolis, Randy and Judy Garrick of Fulton and Mary Courtney of Fulton; aunts and uncles Matt and Amanda Hansard of Demopolis, Lindsay and Jimbo Yelverton of Daphne, Mandi and Brian Jordan of Sweet Water, Andrew Snipes of Demopolis, Anzie Snipes of Demopolis, Cole Suttles of Demopolis and Tiffany Courtney of Tuscaloosa; and several great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
Graveside funeral services were held on Sunday, Feb. 14, at Memorial Gardens in Demopolis with Dr. Art Luckie officiating. Sunset Funeral Home of Tuscaloosa directed the services.
