The city of Linden will celebrate Easter this Saturday, April 3, as the city presents “Easter at the Gazebo.”

The inaugural spring festival is presented by the city and The Linden Merchants and will feature live gospel music from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Gospel groups and singers include Firebrands for Christ, Carla Gaines, the Rev. Tom Stricklin, Linden mayor Mitzi Gates and Glory Road.

Easter bunny pictures will be taken from noon to 2 p.m.Pictures will be posted on lindenalabama.net for downloading.

Several merchants will have sidewalk sales going on throughout the day, and other businesses and organizations will have bake sales. Vendors will also be on hand, and rides will be available.

Anyone wanting to set up a booth should contact city secretary Bruce Ward at (334) 295-5051. The city is not requiring booth sales for this event.
