Mary Jordan Huckabee, age 80, of Linden died on Friday, May 7, 2010, at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis.
She was born on Oct. 27, 1929, in Sweet Water. She was a former seamstress and was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Harry Huckabee of Linden; two granddaughters, Darah Huckabee and Brittany Huckabee, both of Linden; two sisters, Mildred Walker of Mount Vernon and Lois Dews of Sweet Water; and three brothers, Willie Jordan of Sweet Water, Pete Jordan of Wagarville and Alex Jordan of Creola.
Funeral services were held at Forest Hill Baptist Church on Sunday, May 9, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Brooks Barkley officiating. Burial was at Hoboken Baptist Church Cemetery in Sweet Water. O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Linden directed the services.
Active pallbearers were Sonny Rentz, Avery Seger, Buster Glass, Mike Dukes, Darren Glass and Gene Guy.
