Samara Angél Everett, age 37, of Demopolis passed away on June 24, 2010, at Hill Hospital in York.
She was born on Aug. 29, 1972, in Marengo County.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Anita B. and Cecil D. Walker, and an uncle, Roger Clark Tucker.
Survivors include her mother, Shirley Ann Tucker of Demopolis; her father, Ralph Elton (Betty Gayle Jones) Pate Sr. of Greensboro; a half-sister, Amanda Pate of Birmingham; a half-brother, Ralph Elton Pate Jr. of Auburn; aunts and uncles Mack and Linda Tucker of Jefferson, Sandra Stone of Thomasville, Ga., and her daughter Tina and Tina’s children, Keith and Ashley, and Clara and Wayne Tucker of Demopolis; cousins Kenneth Mack (Legare) Tucker Jr. and Kate Tucker, both of Columbia, S.C., Jessica Marie (Joey) Griffin of Northport, Ray (Kim) Pearce of Albany Ga., Casey Pearce and Kelley Pearce, both of Albany, Ga.; godchildren Bankston Roberts and Summer Roberts; and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 26, at 2 p.m. at Westside Baptist Church in Demopolis with pastor Richard Scott officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Geneva Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel is directing the services.
Pallbearers will be Mack Tucker, Kenneth Mack Tucker Jr., Bankston Roberts, Joey Griffin, Ralph Elton Pate Jr. and Brian Irby.
