Jerry Lee Hayes of Akron passed away on Aug. 28, 2010.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 4, at 11 a.m. at the Saint Paul Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Akron with the Rev. James Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the New Akron Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 10 a.m. to the time of the service. There will be a public viewing on Friday, Sept. 3, from noon to 5 p.m. Agnew Funeral Home of Greensboro is directing the services.
