Alex Lomax, Jr., age 95, of Queens, N.Y., passed recently. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 8, at noon at the Evening Star Baptist Church in Gallion. The Rev. Floyd James will officiate. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.  Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis is directing the services.
