UNIONTOWN – A meeting is scheduled for tonight at 7 p.m. at the Uniontown City Hall that will involve personnel from the Alabama Department of Public Safety, State Legislative Committee and Landowners from the Annual Foot Wash venue.

This meeting will address the Alabama Department of Public Safety’s role in this year’s event.

The goal for this year’s event is to provide an atmosphere of safety at the annual event. This year’s Foot Wash is scheduled for Sept. 23-26.
