Kathryn Tucker Brooks, age 51, of Northport passed away on Sept. 10, 2010, in Northport.
She was born on Nov. 20, 1958, in Demopolis to Grace Stephens Tucker and the late Bruce Tucker.
Survivors include his mother; two daughters, Cheryl G. Walden of Tuscaloosa and Lydia Kathryn Walden of Northport; a sister, Patsy T. (Randy) Walden of Trussville; two brothers, Steve Tucker and Jeff (Lynda) Tucker, both of Demopolis; one grandchild, Madelynn Sophia Walden of Tuscaloosa; a niece, Ellen T. (Lynn) Beane of Birmingham; three nephews, Cham Tucker of Boligee and Nick Walton and Josh Walton, both of Trussville; and many aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 14, at 2 p.m. at Fairhaven Baptist Church with Dr. Allen Atkins officiating. Burial will follow at Demopolis Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel is directing the services.
Pallbearers will be Champ Tucker, Wayne Nicholson, Dennis Barkley, Gwinn Etheredge, Dennis Spence and Joey Lays.
