A single-vehicle crash on Saturday in Marengo County claimed the life of a Dixon’s Mills woman and injured two passengers.
The crash occurred at 8:45 p.m. on Ala. Highway 69, five miles north of Providence.
Thelma Takeisha Westbrook, 28, of Dixon’s Mills, was killed and her two passengers injured when the vehicle she was driving left the roadway and overturned.
Seatbelts were not used at the time of the crash.
Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
