A man was struck and killed by a passenger truck late Saturday night on Highway 80 West.

Witnesses said the victim, whose name was not immediately available, was attempting to cross the highway near Parr’s West service station when he was struck at approximately 10 p.m. Saturday night.

The name of the driver was withheld pending investigation.
