Edith Faye Elam, 64, of Gallion passed away Sept. 28 at Hospice of West Alabama. A nurse at Linden Lumber, Elam is survived by daughter Debbie Zipparo Long of Demopolis, stepdaughters Sharon Caudle of Demopolis and Danielle Jones of Tuscaloosa, son David Michael Zipparo (Stephanie) of Demopolis and her sister Louise Hill (Ray) of Marion. She leaves behind five grandchildren; Maggie Zipparo, Parker Zipparo, Hayden Long, Victoria McCray and Zachary Caudle. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Oct. 1 at Heiberger Methodist Church with the Reverend Shannon Allen officiating. Burial took place at Heiberger Methodist Church.
