Lucious Thomas, Jr. of Akron passed away Tuesday, Oct. 12 at Hale County Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, oct. 16 at noon at Bass Tabernacle CME Church with Pastor Andrew Turner, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Hill Zion Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
