LIVINGSTON – Ciara D. McIntyre of Dixons Mills was recently awarded a $14,000 Trustees Scholarship to attend the University of West Alabama. This award, which is based on academic achievement and proven leadership potential, comes from the UWA Office of Admissions.

The Marengo Academy senior serves as senior class, Student Government Association, Psychology Club and National Honor Society president. McIntyre is also co-captain of the cheerleader squad and volleyball teams, a homecoming court member, and a Girls State representative. She plans to major in accounting.
