William “Billy” Clyde Fell, 65 of Demopolis passed away Dec. 26. Born May 17, 1945 in Demopolis to the late William Coleman and Wilma Barnes Meigs Fell, he was preceded in death by his parents, his son Travis Fell and his brother Donald Wayne Fell.

He is survived by his wife Katie Boykin FEll of Demopolis, daughters Vickie Fell Mayton (David) of Demopolis, Angie Parten (Eddie Meissler) of Portage, Ind., Belinda Fell Nelson (Ricky) of Demopolis, sister Mary Fell Ezell (Larry) of Mobile, brother Robert Meigs (Violet) of Demopolis, stepmother Sadie Fell of Mobile, grandchildren Private Ronald Bedsole, Private Alex Mayton (Tiffany), Delanni Averette (Richard), Will Gamel, Michaela “Micki” Mayton, Gavin Nelson, Hanna Claire Nelson, Katey Nelson and T.J. Gregory and great grandchildren Alexis Averette, Carson Averette and Aiden Mayton. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 2:30 p.m. at Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Rev. Douglas Null officiating and Kirk Funeral HOmes Demopolis Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 at the funeral home before the service. Active pallbearers include Alex Mayton, Will Gamel and Taylor Ford IV. Honorary pallbearers include Butch Letson, Garry Malone, Billy Rayford, Ronnie Avery, Bob Walker and Fred Neal.
