Ruby Clyde Stephens, 92, a retired grocery store clerk of Thomasville died Monday, Jan. 3 at Country Oaks Assisted Living Facility in Thomasville. She was born Dec. 22, 1918 in Thomasville. She was a member of the Midway Baptist Church. She is survived by her son Jimmie (Shirley) Stephens of Thomasville, daugther Jean (Roland) Davidson of Miller’s Ferry, sister Evelyn H. Crocker of Mobile, nephew Johnny Clyde Buckalew of Thomasville, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, Jan. 4 at 3 p.m. with Dr. James Best officiating. Burial was at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville. Active Pallbearers were Ronnie Smith, Reid Smith, Brock Fendley, Ricky Stoudenmier, Keith White and Benny Ray Stephens. Honorary Pallbearers were the staff of Country Oaks Assisted Living Faciity.
