Evelyn Marie DeLoach, 70, of Lafe, Ark. was born Feb. 14, 1940 and passed away Jan. 21 in the Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould, Ark.
She was the daughter of Lawrence and Mandre Evett Cecil. She was united in marriage to Mr. Oliver Sole DeLoach in Marengo County on Sept. 15, 1983.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents Lawrence and Mandre Cecil, on son, William McMeans and two brothers, Paul Wayne Cecil and Melvin Cecil and one grandson, Dan McCarter.
She leaves the following to survive: Tina (Mike) Cain of Lafe, Ark., Dorothy (Buster) Reed of Jonesville, La., Wanda (Bill) Watts of Mobile, Linda Allison of Cooter, Mo., Glenda (Curtis) Baker of Forklan, Brenda (Daryl) Littleton of Hayti, Mo., Alice (Ricky) Davidson of Lafe, Ark. and Kathy (Denny) Lewis of Demopolis, two brothers, Gene (Elsie) Cecil of Hayti, Mo., Charles (Janice) Cecil of Bragg City, Mo., two sisters-in-law, Sue Cecil of Neelyville, Mo. and Claudette Cecil of Caruthersville, Mo., grandchildren Shanna Turner, Chris McCarter, Holly McCarter, Jessica Halkias and Cassie Cain and great grandchildren Drew Halkias, Racheal Halkias, David Overstreet, Lee Turner Jr., Stephen Turner and Natalie Halkias and a dear friend, Arthur Matejcek as well as a host of other relatives and many, many friends.
Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Phillips Cemetery in Forkland.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel. Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.
