Sumter County — A single-vehicle crash early Saturday on U.S. 11 ended tragically for two men.

The driver of a 1994 Cadillac Seville and his passenger were killed when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned, ejecting both occupants. The driver was Marvin Dewayne Smith, 34, of Sweetwater; and his passenger was Lamarco Devarcus Tolliver, 24, of Livingston.

The crash occurred at 3:10 a.m. two miles south of Eppes. Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this crash.
