Harry Reginald Horn Jr., 76, of Greensboro passed away at Hale County Hospital in Greensboro Saturday, Feb. 12. Born June 12, 1934, he was preceded in death by his father, Harry Reginald Horn Sr., mother, Annette Horn, wife, Judith Sheffield Horn and an infant son.

He is survived by his wife, Theba Horn of Greensboro, daughters Fran Horn Adams (Bennie) of Northport and Judith Claire Rayn (Dereck) of Greensboro, son, Stephen Sheffield Horn (Bev) of Loxley, grandchildren Kerri Hughes McLain (Hilton) of Northport, Reginald Tanner Ryan of Greensboro, Christopher Sheffield Horn of Loxley, great grandchild Carson Miller McLain of Northport, two step sons, Scott E. Gibson (Monique) of Tuscaloosa and Sean K. Lee of Tuscaloosa.

Harry was a beloved father, husband, grandfather and neighbor in his life and community. He was a great cattleman.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 15 at Greensboro Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dee McGuire and Rev. Dr. Bobby Hopper officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing. The family received friends at the church from 10-11 a.m. before the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greensboro Baptist Church Bus Fund 908 Main Street, Greensboro, AL 36744.

Active Pallbearers included Scott Gibson, Sean Lee, George Smelley, Fletcher Horn, Barry Bates, Danny Miller and Luke Smelley.

Honorary Pallbearers included the staff of Fairview Farm, Bob Shine of Orange Beach, Hale County EMT, all cattle and catfish farmers of Hale and Marengo counties and all of his business associates and lawyer friends.
