Pearl Kiddy Fowler, 88, of Demopolis passed away March 8 at Woodhaven Manor nursing home in Demopolis. Born March 20, 1922 in Lawrence County, Tenn. to the late Henry and Lelar Thompson Kiddy, she was preceded in death by her parents, husband Neal Fowler, daughter Mary Elizabeth Fowler, one grandson Baby Boy Milam, brother Marvin Kiddy and two sisters Velma Beecham and Mamie Gower.
She is survived by sons Houston Fowler (Becky) of Demopolis and Eddison Fowler (LaJuana) of Belo Horizonte, Brazil, one daughter, Linda Milam (James) of Demopolis, 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren as well as one sister Verlie Waldon of Mobile and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 12 at 11 a.m. at Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel with Terry Calloway and Carl Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6-8.
Pallbearers will include Randy Ray, Steve Fowler, Willard Ferguson, Jonathan Knight, Timothy Porter and John Milam. Honorary Pallbearers will include the Canal Heights church of Christ congregation and the residents and staff of Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home in Demopolis. Arrangements handled by Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel.
