Rose Bell Roberts of Birmingham and formerly of Newbern passed away Feb. 23 at Northway Health and Rehabilitation. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 5 at noon at the First Baptist Church of Newbern with Pastor Clinton Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in the McCray Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 11 a.m. to time of service. Public viewing was Friday from noon to 5 p.m. Agnew Funeral Home of Greensboro directing.
